Lars Ulrich's Studio drum kit

This a picture of Lars' studio drum kit in October '98

Model: TAMA Starclassic Maple Drum kit
Color: Blue
Used for: 'Load', 'ReLoad' and 'Garage Inc.' recordings
There are some times he uses up to three microphones for each drum and cymbal plus several over head mic's during a recording session. He uses this strategy so he can choose which microphone sounds best on a certain part of a song.
